The New Year New You Women’s Conference on Saturday, January 9, 2016 from 8:30am-1:30 p.m. at The Jewish Life Center at Duke University.
The interactive conference will run from 8:30am to 1:30pm. Radio One/Foxy 107/104 radio personality Karen Clark will serve as emcee for the event. More than a dozen speakers will be on hand to share their stories and wisdom. Topics of discussion include: physical and mental health, moving forward after attempted suicide, encouraging women to pursue leadership roles in their communities, overcoming physical and emotional abuse, successfully changing careers in the midst of uncertainty and many more. There will also be a “Real Talk with Real Men” panel, where attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions they’ve always wanted answered. The conference will also feature live music, vendors, great food, giveaways and prizes!
